Nieuw state of the art gardencenter Denmark.
In the northwest of Denmark, near the city of Århus, Smiemans Projecten is realizing a new garden center for Plantorama the size of two football fields. The central building containing the entrance to the garden center has a first floor and a flat roof. An escalator allows customers to visit the restaurant, which receives natural light from the integrated light strips in the roof. There are also PV panels on this roof to generate the additional electricity. The warehouse is located at the rear of this building to increase functionality and make ideal use of the space. Most of the outdoor garden will be covered with "open air" plastic arched greenhouses to provide a protected and pleasant outdoor sale for the customers.
We are very happy with this wonderful assignment that we can realize in Tilst, the largest garden center in Denmark.
Polanen Park in Amsterdam
Cosimco is building a new campus on the PolanenPark business park between Haarlem and Amsterdam for the fast-growing American data center operator CyrusOne Inc. Divided over three floors, the data center will cover a total surface of 27,000 m². The campus has an estimated capacity of 72 MW. The new CyrusOne data center - ten minutes from Schiphol and 15 minutes from Amsterdam - is being built according to the latest standards and is part of the European Green IT innovation project CATALYST. It examines whether this large data center can be connected to a heat network to reuse residual heat. CyrusOne will also conduct concrete research into the feasibility of constructing a heat network in Haarlem. The building itself is 22 meters high as it is deep and will be built on 3,500 foundation piles. The construction of the structure requires no less than 3,500 tons of steel and 4,000 m³
We have been commissioned here to develop a steel construction, stairs and fences.

It has a timeless design with a natural stone facade in a light shade. Hourglass will be a multifunctional building of 19 floors and will comprise approximately 42,000 m2 GFA. The office part of the building covers 21,000 m2. On the ground floor there will be 700 m2 of retail and catering space and bicycle sheds. The entire complex is based on a 2-layer underground car park with 148 parking spaces. Completion of the office is scheduled for the end of 2019. The hotel apartments will be completed in February 2020. Hourglass will receive a BREEAM-NL Excellent certificate upon delivery.
